This tank farm was located just south of the city shop building. In 1997 a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment was conducted for the shop area including the tank farm. The conclusions stated that "...significant fuel contamination may exist on the property...", both near the tank farm and the 500-gallon day tank. The report also noted a number of other environmental concerns for the shop and immediate property around it. Sampling conducted during the 2000 site visit did not show any contamination. However, the 1997 report suggests there have previously been noticeable releases from both the tank farm, day fueling tank, and the handling of potential hazardous materials in the area.
