UST 1700-1 was a 300-gallon waste oil tank connected to the Refueler Maintenance Shop (Bldg 1700). The tank was pulled in 1997; BTX, GRO, and DRO were detected above Method 2 cleanup levels. Contaminated soil was used as backfill after pulling the tank.
