Problem Severity

Free product and petroleum contaminated soil discovered at nine-feet below ground surface at permafrost level in excavation for drainfield on residential property. Several cubic yards stockpiled on-site, no groundwater encountered, excavation backfilled with clean soil. Suspected to be a historical release from either the CANOL or Haines pipeline, residents have encountered fuel odors near the pipeline in the past. Fuel odors at the residence have abated.
