First entered YRITWC database in 2007. The site opened in the 1980's and has been used as the community dump.

 

YRITWC staff visited in 2018 and saw improvement with the site but still a top concern for the community. A lot of waste spilling out of the site. This site is in YRITWC database due to the potential of hazardous materials in the landfill, due to little separation. There is also active burning in the landfill. Because it is located near the school, air quality often affects the schools ventilation. Some back haul occurs at the site.
